Partner Emeritus
Jerry Weil is a Partner Emeritus in Bennett Thrasher’s Tax practice, with more than 30 years of experience in providing tax advisory services. Jerry has extensive experience with clients in the technology and the manufacturing and distribution industries, with such clients ranging in size from closely-held startups to publicly-held companies. He has a broad knowledge of corporate and partnership taxation and has assisted dozens of inbound and outbound business entities. Jerry also has experience with assisting companies with the financial accounting aspects of their income tax positions. Prior to Bennett Thrasher, Jerry spent 30 years in the Atlanta office of KPMG. At KPMG, Jerry served in a number of different roles, including leading the Atlanta Technology practice, serving as a Senior Tax Partner for many of the firm’s publicly-held clients and serving as the Southeast Risk Management Partner. Early in his career, Jerry served as the CFO of Uniflex, Inc., an Atlanta-based developer of multi-family housing.
