Bennett Thrasher to Host Fourth Annual “Break Through” Conference This Summer 2016

We are excited to announce that we will be hosting our fourth annual “Break Through” student conference this July! The conference continues to grow and gives us a great opportunity to get to know students before the fall recruiting season begins. We continue to fine tune conference materials to improve upon what we have done the past three years. We want to be sure students are getting the best information and tools to help guide them during the recruiting process, and into their professional career.

The purpose of this conference is to help students “break through” the transition from student to professional. During the conference, we will cover a variety of topics while also giving students the opportunity to network with BT associates, in both professional and social settings.  Some of the topics we will be covering are:

  • Recruiting Process
  • Resumes (Individualized Review)
  • Etiquette
  • Interview Skills (Mock Interviews)
  • Tax vs. Audit – What’s the difference?
  • Deciding between Big 4, Local, and Industry
  • Networking

We will be hosting the conference in our office Thursday July 21st and Friday July 22nd. The conference is by invitation only. If you or someone you know may be interested, please have them apply on our website. Applications are now open, the deadline to apply is April 1st.
