ATLANTA, Dec. 19, 2024 — Bennett Thrasher, a nationally acclaimed full-service accounting and advisory firm headquartered in Atlanta, is proud to announce the addition of Darrel Loyd as Assurance Partner in the firm’s Denver office. With more than 21 years in accounting, most prominently as a partner at KPMG, Darrel brings a wealth of expertise and leadership to the firm as it continues to expand its footprint in the market.

Darrel’s extensive experience working with companies of all sizes and providing counsel to high-growth management teams aligns with Bennett Thrasher’s commitment to exceptional client service and a collaborative culture. He will focus on enhancing Bennett Thrasher’s financial assurance capabilities in the Denver market while fostering client growth opportunities across the region.

Bennett Thrasher’s Denver office, which opened in the summer of 2023, has 35 employees, and plans to double by the end of 2025. A key focus of the firm’s Denver office is providing tax, audit, advisory and accounting services to high-growth companies, which have a strong presence in the market.

Darrel’s passion for community involvement is evident through his leadership roles with organizations such as the Colorado Society of CPAs, the AICPA and the Rocky Mountain Chapter of Breakthrough T1D executive committee, which advocates for Type

1 Diabetes research.
